XCF/KYF Series Air-Inflatable Flotation Cell

XCF/KYF Series Flotation Cell is a high-efficiency froth flotation machine widely used in mineral processing plants for the separation of valuable minerals from ores. Designed with advanced mechanical agitation and forced-air flotation technology, this equipment provides excellent slurry mixing, stable air dispersion, and high recovery performance for various mineral beneficiation applications.

Working Principle of XCF/KYF Flotation Cell

The working principle of the pneumatic flotation cell is based on the interaction between mineral particles, chemical reagents, and air bubbles.

During operation, slurry enters the flotation tank and is fully mixed by the rotating impeller. The impeller creates negative pressure or receives external air supply, generating large quantities of fine air bubbles. Valuable mineral particles attach to the air bubbles and rise to the surface, forming a mineralized froth layer.

The froth layer is collected as concentrate, while unwanted gangue minerals remain in the slurry and are discharged as tailings.
