What is the difference between high frequency vibrating screen and dewatering screen?

High-frequency vibrating screen is referred to as high-frequency screen, which is the same screening equipment as dewatering screen. So, what is the difference between the two? Is it just a different name? Of course not, let's find out.

Introduction of high frequency vibrating screen

As an important screening machine in mineral processing, high-frequency screen has a wide range of applications and is widely used in mineral processing, coal preparation, brick making, chemical and other industries. It can be used to screen wet or dry materials. The high-frequency vibrating screen usually operates at an inclination angle of 0-25°, and its inclination angle can sometimes be as high as 45 degrees. In the case of proper feeding particle size and concentration, and the difference between the required sieve particle size and the feed particle size is not more than 30%, the screening efficiency can be as high as 70% or more.

Introduction of dewatering screen

The dewatering screen is mainly used for dewatering, desliming and de-intermediation of materials. Its screen mesh can be adjusted according to the required processing capacity and feeding force, and has the characteristics of low operating noise, good dehydration effect and high screening efficiency. For some products with low mud content, no sand washing machine is needed, and a dewatering screen can be used directly, which can also achieve the same effect and greatly save operating costs.

What is the difference between high frequency screen and dehydration screen?

1. Different screening efficiency

The high-frequency vibrating machine is used in the operation of the high-frequency screen, and the vibration frequency is high, and its rotating speed is as high as 1500-7200r/min, which can accelerate the separation of materials on the screen surface. Compared with the dewatering screen, the screening efficiency is higher, and the up to more than 70%. The screen surface utilization rate of the high-frequency screen is also very high, the processing capacity is large, and the phenomenon of material blocking will not occur.

2. Adapt to different materials

The dewatering screen is mainly to dry the materials in the cement slurry to realize the separation of slag and water to achieve the purpose of dry discharge. Generally, the more materials on the screen that are discharged dry, the better; while the high-frequency screen is to classify materials with different particle sizes. Screening, including wet and dry screening, the ratio of over- and under-sieves depends on the material itself.

3. The working principle is different

The high-frequency screen can easily break the tension on the surface of the material, and accelerate the high-speed oscillation of the fine-grained material on the screen surface, thereby accelerating the separation of the large-density material, greatly increasing the contact rate between the material smaller than the screen hole and the screen hole, creating a good Separation conditions, so that the materials with larger specific gravity can be quickly screened and separated; the dewatering screen adopts the double-electrode self-synchronization technology, and the two unconnected vibrators are driven by the belt coupling to run synchronously and reversely, so that the screen body operates in a linear direction. Periodic reciprocating movement, so as to achieve the purpose of graded dehydration.

4. Different dehydration effects

The whole dewatering screen has a reasonable structure, high processing precision, strong and durable, good dewatering effect, can be used alone, and can also be used together with a sand washing machine; while the high-frequency screen adopts the design principle of high vibration frequency and low amplitude, which is more conducive to The fine and heavy materials are screened and separated, so the dehydration effect is better.
