PP Filter Press Cloth, also known as Polypropylene Filter Cloth or Filter Press Cloth, is a high-performance filtration medium designed for efficient solid-liquid separation in chamber filter presses, plate and frame filter presses, and membrane filter presses. Manufactured from selected polypropylene fibers, the cloth combines excellent chemical resistance, mechanical strength, low moisture absorption, and reliable filtration performance.
PP is one of the most widely used filter cloth materials because of its resistance to many acids and alkalis, good flexing strength and favorable cake-release characteristics. Satin and other smooth-surface constructions can further improve cake discharge.

Plain, twill and satin weave options can be selected to balance particle retention, filtrate clarity, permeability, cake release and cloth service life.
The cloth can be fabricated to match different filter plate designs, including center-feed, corner-feed, single cloth, double cloth, drape-over and barrel-neck/capped filter cloth configurations. Selecting the correct filter press cloth is critical to the performance of the entire filtration system. A cloth that is too open may reduce filtrate clarity, while an excessively tight fabric may increase filtration resistance and extend cycle time. The correct specification should therefore be selected according to particle size distribution, slurry concentration, pH, operating temperature, feed pressure and required cake moisture. Monofilament PP Filter Cloth provides a relatively smooth surface with good permeability and excellent cake release. Its structure is particularly suitable for applications where cloth cleaning, anti-blinding performance and fast cake discharge are important.
Multifilament PP Filter Cloth provides good particle retention and flexibility and can be selected for finer solids and applications where filtrate clarity is a priority.
Mono-Multifilament Filter Cloth combines characteristics of both yarn structures and can provide a practical balance between filtration accuracy, cake release, strength and permeability.
