PU Screen Mesh Technology Enhances Industrial Screening Performance

Screening operations play a crucial role in mineral processing, silica sand production, aggregate processing and coal preparation plants. However, traditional metal screen meshes often struggle to maintain efficiency when handling abrasive, sticky or wet materials.

Under such conditions, metal screen meshes rapidly experience aperture wear, material blockage and reduced open area, leading to decreased screening accuracy and frequent maintenance shutdowns.

Polyurethane screen mesh technology has emerged as an effective solution to these challenges.

The flexible polyurethane structure offers excellent wear resistance and maintains stable aperture geometry under continuous vibration. Compared with conventional metal screens, polyurethane meshes can provide three to five times longer service life while improving screening precision and material flow performance.
