Conveyor Rollers & Idlers are critical components in belt conveyor systems, supporting the conveyor belt and conveyed material while maintaining stable belt travel over long conveying distances. Designed for demanding bulk material handling applications, our Mining Conveyor Idlers are suitable for mines, quarries, aggregate plants, cement plants, coal handling facilities, ports and other heavy-duty conveying systems.
In mining operations, conveyor rollers are continuously exposed to abrasive dust, moisture, impact loads, material carryback and long operating hours. Reliable roller construction, bearing protection and sealing performance are therefore essential for reducing rotational resistance, preventing premature bearing failure and minimizing conveyor downtime.
Our range covers individual Heavy Duty Conveyor Rollers as well as complete Conveyor Idler Assemblies, allowing replacement according to existing conveyor dimensions, belt width, trough angle and operating conditions.
Troughing Idlers / Troughing Rollers
Installed on the carrying side of the conveyor, troughing idlers support the loaded belt and form it into a trough for stable bulk material transportation. Typical configurations include three-roll idler sets with 20°, 30°, 35° or 45° trough angles. They are widely used for transporting ore, coal, crushed stone, sand, limestone and other bulk materials.
Impact Rollers / Impact Idlers
Designed for conveyor loading and transfer zones where falling material generates high impact forces. Rubber rings or impact discs around the roller shell help absorb shock loads and reduce direct impact on the conveyor belt, helping extend belt and roller service life. Impact idlers are particularly suitable beneath crushers, hoppers, feeders and transfer chutes. Industry references likewise position impact idlers specifically in areas where belt impact damage is common.
Return Rollers / Flat Return Idlers
Installed beneath the conveyor to support the empty return belt. Available as steel rollers, rubber disc rollers and other configurations according to material carryback and operating conditions.
Rubber Disc Return Rollers
Rubber discs help reduce material buildup on the return side and are particularly useful when conveying damp, sticky or fine materials. They can help prevent accumulated carryback from interfering with belt tracking and roller rotation.
Self-Aligning / Training Idlers
Used where belt mistracking causes spillage, edge wear or conveyor structure damage. The training assembly responds to belt deviation and helps guide the belt toward its correct running position. These idlers are commonly installed at selected positions along long-distance mining conveyors.
Spiral / Disc Cleaning Rollers
Designed for applications where sticky material adheres to the return belt. Spiral or disc structures help reduce material accumulation around the roller surface and are useful in wet ore, coal, clay and aggregate conveying systems.
Different roller materials can be selected according to the operating environment.
Steel Conveyor Rollers provide high mechanical strength and are widely used in heavy-duty mining, quarrying and aggregate conveying.
HDPE / Composite Conveyor Rollers offer lightweight construction, corrosion resistance and lower operating noise, making them suitable for applications where roller weight, corrosion or maintenance accessibility is a concern.
Polyurethane Coated Rollers can be supplied for applications requiring additional wear resistance, surface protection or reduced material adhesion.
Rubber disc and rubber-ring designs are also available for impact absorption and return-belt cleaning applications.
For mining and bulk handling conveyors, roller performance depends on more than shell thickness alone. Bearing selection, shaft strength, sealing structure, concentricity and rotational resistance all influence operating life.
Our rollers can be configured with multi-stage sealing systems to protect bearings against dust and moisture. Heavy-duty shafts and accurately manufactured roller shells help maintain stable rotation under continuous loads, while controlled runout helps reduce unnecessary conveyor vibration and belt wear.
For projects requiring international dimensional standards, rollers and idler assemblies can be manufactured according to customer drawings and applicable CEMA, DIN or ISO requirements. CEMA dimensional standards are particularly important in North American bulk-material conveyor systems because standardized dimensions improve interchangeability of complete idler assemblies.

Our Mining Conveyor Rollers and Idlers are designed for continuous bulk material transportation in:
Mining and mineral processing plants; open-pit and underground mine conveyors; quarry and aggregate processing plants; crushing and screening lines; coal mines and coal handling plants; cement and limestone plants; sand and gravel operations; ports and ship-loading systems; power plants; and long-distance overland conveyor systems.
They can be used for conveying iron ore, copper ore, gold ore, coal, limestone, granite, crushed rock, aggregates, sand and other abrasive bulk materials.

The product range allows customers to source multiple conveyor roller types from one supplier, from standard carrying and return rollers to impact, training, cleaning and heavy-duty mining idlers.
Replacement rollers can also be developed according to existing samples or technical drawings, making them suitable for conveyor maintenance projects, OEM conveyor systems and replacement of worn conveyor components.
For abrasive or contaminated environments, roller material, shell thickness, shaft, bearing and sealing configuration can be selected according to actual belt speed, load, material characteristics and environmental conditions rather than using one standard roller design for every application.
